Some bad news...

Dear Nicky,

None of this pertains to you or Junie, but Mom and I got some bad news this evening. I suppose it's not end of the world-type news, but it makes me feel sad, depressed, disappointed, angry, and other bad emotions. It feels like an elephant is standing on my head. I just want to go to sleep and escape. Mom feels even worse. It's not something I want to tell you about right now, if ever.
