Merry Christmas 2008...
Dear Nicky,
Christmas this year was a darn sight better this year than last. Everybody slept nice and late, we had a nice breakfast, you guys opened a lot of presents, then had a nap while I put together this monstrously complicated kitchen playset for you and June. Mom made an excellent beef stew and candycane cake for dessert. Uncle Jonny came over around 4:30 or so and hung out way too long. You guys were pretty good all day and went to bed easily. Compared to last year, this Christmas was a titanic triumph.
