Boots' birthday...

Dear Nicky,

Today was your Cousin Boots' birthday. Mom took you guys over there around noon and brought you home at seven. You had a lot of fun and ate extremely well. But neither of you guys napped at all during the day, which meant that by the time you came home you were exhausted and Junie was psychotic. While Mom gave you a bath, I spent close to an hour trying to calm down your sister. After a very quiet period all day, it was quite stressful for all of us, you included, to hear her howling and shrieking the way she was.
